Healthy Heart Compass is operated by Myradiologist Technology Co Pty Ltd (ABN 50 680 348 172, ACN 680 348 172) ("we", "us", "our"). We are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through healthyheartcompass.ai and related services. It does not cover the handling of your clinical records by a treating doctor or clinic, which is governed by that practice's own privacy policy.
a) Information you give us voluntarily. If you subscribe to updates, we collect your email address and, if you provide it, your name. If you contact us by telephone or email, we collect what you choose to tell us.
b) Technical information collected automatically. When you visit the site we, and our analytics provider, may collect your IP address (which may be truncated), browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page and time of visit.
c) What we deliberately do not collect. We do not collect health information through this website. The risk calculator processes your inputs locally in your browser and discards them when you close or refresh the page. No inputs are transmitted to us or stored on any server.
Health information is sensitive information under the Privacy Act and attracts higher protection. Our position is to avoid collecting it through this website altogether. If this changes, for example when online booking is introduced, this policy will be updated first, and we will seek your consent where required.
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. This places cookies on your device and sends usage data to Google, which may process it outside Australia. We use it for aggregate statistics, not to identify individuals.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, and Google provides an opt-out browser add-on. Blocking cookies will not stop you using any part of this site, including the calculator.
We do not use advertising, retargeting or social media tracking pixels.
We handle personal information to operate and improve the website, to respond to your enquiries, to send updates you have subscribed to, and to meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.
If you subscribe, we will only send you what you signed up for. Every message will identify us and include a working unsubscribe link, as required by the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). You can unsubscribe at any time and we will action it promptly.
We disclose personal information only to service providers who help us run the site (website hosting, analytics, email delivery), bound to use it only for that purpose; professional advisers, where necessary; and anyone else where you consent, or where we are required or authorised by law.
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.
Some of our providers store or process data outside Australia. In particular, our website hosting provider (Webflow) and our analytics provider (Google) are based in the United States, and email delivery services may also be located overseas. By using this site you acknowledge that information described in section 3 may be handled in those countries, where privacy laws differ from Australia's.
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and limiting collection to what we actually need. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
You may ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is wrong. Contact us using the details in section 13. We will respond within a reasonable period. In limited circumstances we may refuse access, and if we do we will tell you why in writing.
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected or as required by law, then destroy or de-identify it. Newsletter subscriber details are deleted on unsubscribe, subject to any records we must retain to honour that unsubscribe request.
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
If you have a privacy question or complaint, contact our Privacy Officer at Myradiologist Technology Co Pty Ltd on +61 8 6166 5790.
We will acknowledge your complaint and aim to resolve it within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or 1300 363 992.
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page with the date it was last updated.
